Over the years, I have blogged on different platforms, but always as Urbanspotting. The name was born out of a huge fascination for big cities and a long love affair with especially New York.
So my first blog posts will revisit some of my old posts. First a little ode I wrote after winter visit to NYC.
A quick New York fix…involves people watching, being asked to dance with a stranger on the street, doing a Jivamukti yoga class with chanting followed by a vegan lunch, walking block after block, sipping lots of bone broth from Brodo (the chicken ginger is my favourite) and splashing out on a wonderful hotel (Crossby Street Hotel combines Uk cosy, quirky style with the best of New York), drinking champagne with a good friend, while looking at the city lights and ordering breakfast in bed while watching the sun rise over East Village. There’s only one problem with NYC. The city makes you want MORE!
